Website hosting and security
This website is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare Pages, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. When you request a page, Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address, the requested URL, date and time, browser and device information, referring page, and security signals.
This processing is necessary to deliver the website, prevent abuse, and keep it secure and reliable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not export Cloudflare access logs into a separate visitor database. Technical data is retained according to Cloudflare's service settings and legal obligations, and only for as long as needed for delivery and security.
Cloudflare acts as a service provider and data processor for relevant customer data. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum.
YouTube videos
Article pages initially show a thumbnail hosted by World Made Clear. No connection to YouTube or Google is made and no YouTube player is present at that stage.
The player is loaded only after you select the clearly labelled play button. This is an affirmative choice to load external content. Your browser then connects to YouTube through the privacy-enhanced domain youtube-nocookie.com.
YouTube and Google may then process your IP address, browser information, referrer information, and your interaction with the player. They may also use cookies or similar browser storage. Loading the player is voluntary and is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021). If you do not select play, the connection is not made.
Your choice applies only to the player you load and is not stored for future visits. You can stop the connection for future playback on that page by selecting “Unload YouTube” or by leaving or reloading the page. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already occurred while the player was loaded.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, Google services are generally provided by Google Ireland Limited. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Email communication
The contact link opens your own email application. If you email us, we process your email address, message, attachments, and routing metadata to answer your request. Depending on the message, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps connected with a possible agreement or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in answering questions, corrections, and other correspondence.
Incoming mail may be routed through Cloudflare Email Routing and is delivered to the controller's mailbox provider. Messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the conversation and any applicable legal retention or documentation duties.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
World Made Clear does not set its own cookies or use local browser storage. It does not use analytics, advertising pixels, behavioral profiling, user accounts, or automated decision-making. Third-party storage may be used by YouTube only after you load a video.
Under Section 165(3) TKG 2021, non-essential storage or access on a user's device requires prior consent. Because this website does not activate non-essential storage when a page first loads, it does not display a general cookie banner. See the Austrian Data Protection Authority's cookie guidance.
International data transfers
Cloudflare and Google operate globally, so data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Their published safeguards include the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Details are available in the provider policies linked above.
Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for future processing at any time.
Send privacy requests to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
